With the 2026 season rapidly approaching and team roster's still up in the air I thought it would be a good time to look over the "Circle the Date" games for the upcoming season.
For this list I didn't count any division games as those are always big games in the Deep South.

San Antonio Stingers

Week 3-Home against the Hartford Attack. This match up of 2025 division winners will be an early test to gauge the Stingers season.

Week 6-At Detroit. The long time powerhouse Vampires will test San Antonio as the Stingers try and prove that they can stop an elite team.

Week 13-At Durham. This matchup of the last two Eastern Conference champions will be of vital importance in the late season run up to the playoffs and in San Antonio establishing themselves as THE team to beat in the East.

Shreveport Pride

Week 3-Home against Atlantic City. Both of these teams feel they can take the next step and reach the playoffs. Shreveport feels this year they can make it back and will need to clear out this eastern foe early in case of a possible Wild Card scenario.

Week 8-At Detroit. Detroit is a measuring stick for any team wanting to show that it can compete for a championship. Winning at Detroit could be even tougher.

Week 10- Home against Cleveland. Cleveland is looking to take over the Great Lakes division and will be wanting to power through their schedule. Shreveport is looking to regain their division for the third time in four years. This late in the season this will be a great game.

New Orleans Raging Horde

Week 3-At Omaha. After having their first winning record in four years the Arrowheads will present an interesting test for the Horde who are also looking to rebound after three straight years without a playoff birth.

Week 6-At Cleveland. This is a similar situation to Shreveport. With Cleveland looking to finally make a championship run New Orleans will have their hands full.

Week 9-Home against Detroit. Again...measuring stick game. Although New Orleans does get the edge being at home.

Tennessee Militia

Week 4-Home against Detroit. And again...measuring stick game. If Detroit loses this early a game to a team that many feel is inferior then it would illustrate what the loss of their GM means to them.

Week 8-At Cleveland. This game will have some interesting story lines as Marvin Barton will return to Cleveland for the first time after having been traded prior to last season. This game will have more interest if the rumors of the Militia moving to Columbus are true.

Week 15-Home against Brooklyn.
The Brawlers and Militia are in a similar situation. Both teams are looking to turn a corner and finally make the playoffs. This will be a hard fought game that will probably have playoff implications over at it's late point in the season.

Agree? Disagree? Post some comments...

Hartford is scary good with those WRs and will be tough to match up although our secondary is fairly solid.

Durham is always tough with Taco at the helm.

Detroit won't be the same without FFF running the game planning.
