Blake Faulk had a great game, but I'll take C.J. Hicks's 293 receiving yards (a yard or two short of his own single game record) and his three touchdowns.
To put what Hicks did in perspective:
Boston Bee's gross passing yards: [b487d9ce]333[/b487d9ce]
C. J. Hicks's recieving yards: [b487d9ce]293[/b487d9ce] (or [b487d9ce]88%[/b487d9ce])
To put it in even better perspective:
Boston Bee's total net offense period: [b487d9ce]385[/b487d9ce]
C. J. Hicks's yards from scrimmage: [b487d9ce]294[/b487d9ce] (or [b487d9ce]76%[/b487d9ce])
(He actually rushed for a yard, too.)
He also had two kick returns for 68 yards (34.0 per).
Oh, and those three touchdowns (13, 57, and 41 yrds) were the Bees' only touchdowns.
Not sure I've seen anything close to that. Not from a WR, anyway. It's a lot easier for a running back to put up those kinds of total offense percentages since they can rush and receive.
I'm not giddy about this, mind you. To me, this partly shows how pathetic the rest of my offense is. That's [b487d9ce][i487d9ce]91[/i487d9ce][/b487d9ce] yards of total Hicksless offense. QB Province did get the ball to Hicks, though, so I give him credit for that.
BTW, this is a great feature, Fonz. No offense meant. Just thought it was worth mentioning. And Faulk is certainly deserving of note, too!
