A defensive spark, a 53 yard interception return by [player]Andrew Wilson[/player], early in the second quarter led the offensive tour de force that ended with [player]Ike McCormick[/player] having the best game of his career and [player]Emmanuel Cole[/player] one yard shy of his third straight 300 yard game. [player]Leroy Chadwick[/player] justified his $6.7 million salary with a six reception 102 yard performance.
The game ball for the game goes to the Militia defense who held the Crows to a total of 291 yards and to only 4/13 on third downs. They also applied ample pressure to the quarterback. While only tallying one sack [player]Joel Holley[/player] and [player]Kenneth Bays[/player] each hurried the quarterback twice and [player]Ernest Armstrong[/player] blocked two passes at the line. All in all a great premiere for the red alternate jersey.
Next weeks game against Cleveland puts the Militia up against one of the top teams in the league at a time that Tennessee can ill afford to lose anymore ground in their division.
