Is anyone interested in having a live chat on Monday night for the opening week sim? Based on the owners who are online we will pick a game and I will post the play-by-play log one play at a time. We did this several times over the past two seasons and it is a lot of fun. Is anyone interesting in doing this on Monday night at 9pm EST? If we get enough interest then I will change the schedule and run the sim on Monday night instead of Tuesday morning. If less than 3 or 4 owners are interested then I will keep the current schedule and I'll run the sim first thing Tuesday morning (6 am). Post here to express your interest and I'll make a decision by Saturday night. |

I wouldn't be able to make it, but it sounds like a great idea. |

Sounds like a great idea, but Mondays are bad for me between my new internship and my night class. |

I'd be interested if we could do it someplace other than on AIM. I always get disconnected from AIM. Anybody up for IRC or Yahoo? Motormouth Bowl sounds good to me. However, it would be even more fun if you could stick in scores from around the league at the end of each quarter. |

9 pm EST is something like 3 am for me, so unfortunately, even though I would love to join, it's a no no. (However, in roughly 2 weeks time, the lady and little lady are going away for 10 days, so then it will be another story! |

Great! It looks like there is enough interest to have a live play-by-play chat on Monday night. Let's do it! I will update the schedule. The chat will be at 9pm EST. Sorry to those of you who can't make it. We'll do another live chat in a few weeks and we can try a different time that is more convenient for other owners. Unless anyone has any objections we will plan on doing Motormouth Bowl III. Go Bulldogs! Since Raven Hawk has problems with AIM let's consider using something else. Would everyone be ok with using Yahoo? |

Unfortunately, I'm stuck working Monday nights for the next while or so. Sucks. But it's SUCH an awesome idea. Even though we lost, the one Calibiri game that snuck onto GE's play-by-play chat was one of THE most exciting online gaming dealie I've had the opportunity to be a part of. As an aside, might I suggest IRC as a medium? We usually do IRC for Sunday Hattrick matches and it works out great. |

I cannot use any chat client that requires install software on my machine, as I am on travel with a work machine... But I can use AIM through AIM Express on the web... |

Hmmmmm, Raven Hawk, does AIM work at all for you? What kind of problems do you have with it? Do you have the latest version? I'd like Wade to be able to make the chat if we are going to do the Tampa game. |

So as long as everybody doesn't mind reinviting me every 5 minutes, I can use AIM. |
