GI! Great to see you here. We're still doin' our thing here (though I have to say - FOUR YEARS?! Wow.), and our current slate of owners is great. We do have a couple openings though - if you're at all tempted to give FOF another whirl, we'd love to have you back!

Well, not time to come back right now to the game with a 3.5 year old and a new baby on the way, but it's amazing you guys are still going strong after such a long time. It really says volumes about FoF and its staying power.

Is there going to be a new version? I haven't kept up, so I don't even know if Jim G. is still in business.

Congrats on the impending new baby! My kids are 3.5 years apart (8 and 4.5, currently), so I hear you. Once life settles down (which, hopefully, will be before your kids graduate from high school) please give some thought to coming back. We'd all love to have some GI back in the CFL!

The question you've asked about FOF is of the million dollar variety, and Jim has been (typically) tight-lipped about his plans. The fact that he hasn't publicly stated that he has abandoned FOF gives me some hope, as I believe he'd have the decency to tell all of us waiting for a new version to direct our emotional energies elsewhere. And I can understand his reticence to release a new version in the last 12 months, given the uncertain labor situation (and the consequences that uncertainty might pose for his game design).

That being said, I'll have some lingering doubt until he formally announces a new version. I try to stay hopeful, though.
