The forums were indeed dead for a short time, thanks to an unexpected MySQL update. But fear not, for we are now undead!

I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you might have, Gimmer60. For what it's worth, you certainly don't need to be an expert at FOF2k7 to play in a multiplayer league. You've got experience with a past version, and that'll be enough to get you going. The owners here are very helpful and will certainly be supportive in getting you going, but you may also want to take a peek at http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/index.php. There's a ton of useful information over there.

Thank you for the reply. I did indeed think the forum was dead or that I had been banned/blocked for some reason.

I will have a good luck at the FOFC site for info before I start firing off questions.

I have had very little game time on FOF2004,and would need to get more games played and then update to FOF2007. I think only then will I be able to contribute properly to the CFL.I will continue to follow the league games results etc.

Let me gain a little more experience,then I'll be ready to take a team in the near future, when they become available again.

I play the game with simple things like peoples birthday, favorite players number. Just play the game your way man. Hardest part is starting, some come and some go. We'd love to have you play.

Thanks for the kind words. I note you have been playing for a long time. I still need to get more games played,and update to FOF2007 yet before I can be a proper contributing member.

There are still lots of things I dont understand yet about FOF and need to sort out, but I will get there eventually.

I will continue to watch/read the forums for info etc.

I will have to say that I bought the game last year to JOIN a league. I had never played the game before, but it was very intriguing to me. I say update to the new version, and just jump in. It's fun, and who care if your team isn't very good for a little while.

It is only fake football....

I bought the game about 5 mins before I applied to this league...and while I still haven't figured a lot of it out....I'm having fun learning....and losing a lot....and I have good players.... hmmmmmm ... you may have a point.

I say try it out and then join the league, we will help you get into the game..
