Welcome, welcome, welcome! This is [i0b27828]Motormouth's Game of the Week Preview[/i0b27828] and I'm your host, Christian Burchett. Motormouth has the week off due to network mandated psychiatric evaluations.

Let's review the week 3 games. What a week it was in the CFL!
[list0b27828]
[*0b27828]The defending champion Charleston Monitors (2-1) had to come from behind in the final 5 minutes against Albany (0-3).
[*0b27828]Tulsa (0-3) fell one point shy of defeating Anchorage (3-0). QB Donnie Lowe now has 0 TDs and 8 INTs.
[*0b27828]Arizona scored 41 points. They had never scored more than 23 points in a game before.
[*0b27828]Boston (1-2) upset Detroit (2-1) by controlling the ball for over 35 minutes.
[*0b27828]Baltimore RB Monty Boyd caught 9 passes for 123 yards and 2 TDs in their win over Chicago. He has never had that many rushing yards in a game before.
[*0b27828]My Durham Bulldogs rushed 50 times for 258 yards against New Orleans and had a time of possession advantage of 41:08 to 18:52. Stephen Metz is now 2nd in the league in rushing yards.
[*0b27828]El Paso held Long Beach to 55 passing yards in their victory. The Rockets are now 3-0 while Long Beach only has 278 passing yards in its first 3 games combined.
[*0b27828]Quinn Elway had his first career sack but Fargo still lost to Santa Cruz 21-16. Sack competition: Motormouth 1, Elway 1.
[*0b27828]Ronnie Tu of Honolulu won his 3rd game in a row and leads the league with a 118.9 passer rating.
[*0b27828]Tucson remained unbeaten at 2-0-1 despite not scoring an offensive touchdown against Huntington Beach.
[*0b27828]Cleveland improved to 2-1 after J.C. Adkins kicked a game winning field goal with 4 seconds left against New York. Both of Cleveland's wins this season have happened in the final minute.
[*0b27828]Denver found a way to completely shut down Oregon's explosive offense and pulled out a 13-10 victory.
[*0b27828]Las Vegas lost their 3rd straight home game this year. Last year they were 8-0 at home.
[*0b27828]James Oberg has looked better each week and his Hartford team is now 2-1 heading into their bye week.
[*0b27828]Memphis trailed Tampa Bay 20-0 in the middle of the 3rd quarter but came back to win in the final minute. Final score: 21-20. Tampa Bay is now 0-3.
[*0b27828]Finally, in the Game of the Week, Atlantic City improved to 3-0 by defeating Shreveport. Rookie QB Joel Razo hasn't put up big numbers but he just finds a way to win.

This week's Game of the Week is the New Orleans Breakers (0-3) at the Chicago Hitmen (1-2). These are two teams that desperately need a win. The big matchup to watch will be Chicago's star RB Arthur Brady (3626 career rushing yards, most in CFL history) against the New Orleans' rushing defense (allowing 197.3 rushing yards per game, most in the league). If New Orleans can fix what's wrong in their defense then they will get their first win of the season. Otherwise Chicago will improve to 2-2 and will be right back in the playoff race.

That's it for me. Motormouth will return next week assuming he is found to be sane enough to continue hosting this show. Good night, all!

Psychiatric evaluations?

Could it be the "Demetrius Underwood syndrome"? :?
