The Tennessee Militia is happy to announce the signing of "uber" back Bart Godfrey to a new 5 year $113.09 million dollar contract. While both sides wanted to get the deal done earlier in the year, and neither side wanted to see Godfrey in Free Agency, the Militia had to pony up a few money bags more thanks to the pressure applied by agent Eddie Brown. In the end, Brown relented and advised his client that Tennessee was giving him "a more than fair" deal for a running back soon to be entering his 6th season. Godfrey's only quote from the days signing was, "Just keep giving me the damn ball. I'll earn every penny."
