I imagine it would have been cheaper for Detroit to have franchised their DT instead of trying to resign him on the open market. His loyalty is pretty low, so they won't get much help there. With a Wants Winner rating of only 43%, Vegas isn't at much of a disadvantage bidding against Detroit, Tuscon, and Hartford.
