Another solid win, however, QB Stephen Gietka picked up a minor knee injury. Now I have to decide if I want to sit him for three weeks until it heals to avoid the risk of a much more serious injury. |

I have not had much time to watch any games or make changes over the last few weeks but finally found out why my offense is so bad. When my hard drive crashed, I lost my game plans. So, my offense has not been running the short passing - 2/3 TE offense that was catered to the QB's strengths. Now it makes sense why we have thrown so many interceptions. Not sure I have the time this season to get back to where I was with the game plans but I will see what I can do. If I was a coach I would be fired! Just when you think you have fully recovered from a hard drive crash, something else pops up. Oh well... |

Solid win gives us a three game win streak on the road. Now standing at 4-4 within an eyelash of the division lead. Nice accomplishment. Now to face St. Louis! |

Slobberknocker!!! I am pretty sure the players on both sides are sitting in the ice tub...Brooklyn gave us all we could handle, but came up short with 4 tries at our goaline in the closing seconds. Both teams played excellent defense and tried over and over again to impose their will with the run. GG Deano!! I think these teams were pretty damn even. Great to get to 5-2....Especially with Shreveport getting to face Hartford this week.... |

Interesting that this happened to Brooklyn the prior game, and then in this game with 1 minute left they tried to pass it in...... Same result... Must be frustrating Dean.... WHAT IF . . . Brooklyn was able to score a touchdown from 1st and goal at the ACI 1 yard line. Instead, ACI was able to stop the Brawlers on three straight plays with 0 yards gained. The resulting field goal cut the AC lead to 14-12 but was the last points scored in the game. 1-1-ACI01 (4Q: 09:54) Kelly May ran inside the left tackle for 0 yards. Tackled by DT Levon Biakabutuka, assisted by DE Mike Hipp. Brooklyn: Single-Back formation, strength is left. The defense is in a 34 with goal-line personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, keying aggressively on the run. 2-1-ACI01 (4Q: 09:23) Ricardo Murray ran inside the left tackle for 0 yards. Tackled by ILB Emmitt Suhocki, assisted by DT Darren Richardson. The defense looked very familiar with that play. Brooklyn: Pro formation with two tight ends, strength is left. The defense is in a 34 with goal-line personnel and 2-deep man-to-man coverage, keying aggressively on the run. 3-1-ACI01 (4Q: 08:47) Kelly May ran around right end for 0 yards. Tackled by OLB Corey Fisher. 4-1-ACI01 (4Q: 08:10) Tyrus Wooden attempted a 18 yard field goal and succeeded. Atlantic City 14, Brooklyn 12 |

Too much fun! Great Game Aamalin! But in case you missed it this is the most baffling thing: After this game I have 11 players out with influenza! What ever drug you gave us, I want want it! We can make a profit and maybe even beat Hartford! Has anyone ever seen this? Sorry Cotton if you get this too. It is 11 guys. |

Rest him, you will be fine. It's Rico Suave. My guy has a compound leg fracture and my rookie took a dump in training-camp, as you know. Could be worse. |

Well, it's 34-3 or something like that, late in the fourth quarter, and Gietka's still trying to run up the score on me, throwing deep over and over again, so I wasn't exactly heartbroken for him. The Bees won't be bad forever. In fact, I thought they showed some scrappiness out there. Stupid mistakes like two untimely fumbles and ridiculous penalties in Hartford territory made the score look a little worse than it was. The Bees blew more than a couple opportunities in Hartford territory with bad pass blocking, stupid penalties, and really, really untimely fumbles... GG, enjoy your run this season and remember that those objects in your rear-view mirror are closer than they may appear! |

The flu usually does come in groups like that. I've had it happen numerous times. The funny thing is, thankfully, is that it doesn't seem to have any effect and I've won those games more often than not. But in case you missed it this is the most baffling thing: After this game I have 11 players out with influenza! What ever drug you gave us, I want want it! As far as Hartford, even e coli and mad cow disease are not going to stop them this season. Only Hartford can stop Hartford. |

GG, Meatholes. We just had too much for the rookie QB. I liked seeing Leland Wellins move into 4th place on the all-time sack list against a division rival. Wellins has 5 sacks against division rivals this season and half a sack in the other 4 games. Would like to see him get his 100th sack on Gietka this week, but odds are against him with his out-of-division performance and Gietka's questionable status with a knee injury. If Shreveport remains in first place after this week, we're installing the comfy pillow on our seat atop the Deep South division. |

Good game Detroit! First game behind the Ohio wheel. The Sentries had a tough time running the ball, passing went OK but Detroits tough D. didn't allow us to turn yards into points. In the 4th they really showed their dominance and turned a 14-6 lead into a 30-6 win! Next up: Omaha. |
