Game Report: Atlantic City 21, San Antonio 13
Week 3

PLAYER OF THE GAME – QB Monty Lynch – 22/28, 264 yards, 1 INT, 3 TD (2 rushing), 102.9 Rating

What a difference a good QB makes! For the 3rd straight game, Lynch was named the player of the game for the Phantoms. Despite throwing his first interception of the year, Lynch more than made up for that mistake with 1 passing touchdown and another 2 touchdowns on the ground.

MISSING IN ACTION – Forcing Turnovers

Atlantic City has yet to force a turnover in the first three weeks of the season.

WHAT IF . . .

The Phantoms will certainly be working on their 2-minute offense during the bye week. After the defense forced a quick 3 and out with 1:39 left in the half, there were some curious calls made that may have kept ACI from getting some additional points before the half. Specifically, ACI had three time outs and failed to call one after two big plays to start the drive. Then with 13 seconds left and the ball on the San Antonio 41, the Phantoms tried to trick the Stingers with a run that was stopped for a 1 yard gain.

Atlantic City: Goal-Line formation with three tight ends, strength is left. The defense is in a 34 with dime personnel and 3-deep zone coverage, expecting the pass. D'Amato, Everett and Bjorkstam are blitzing.
