Game Report: Boston 0, Atlantic City 31
Week 11

Biggest Play:

This may not have been the biggest play of the game but it was a big play for the future. QB Amos Bradford entered the game late in the 4th quarter and ran for a 2 yard touchdown. It was nice to see the kid get some game action.

Atlantic City: I formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 43 with goal-line personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, keying aggressively on the run.
2-2-BOS02 (4Q: 00:12) Amos Bradford kept the ball, running around the left tackle for 2 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! Key block delivered by Toby Griffith. Atlantic City 30, Boston 0

Offensive Standout: RB J.R. Brustkern – 28 car., 106 yds, 4 rec., 39 yds

Brustkern bounced back from a 39 yard performance against Hartford to eclipse the 100 yard mark this week. Down the stretch, he will need to keep the opposing defense honest to open up the passing game for QB Monty Lynch.

Defensive Standout: OLB Corey Fisher – 5 tackles, 1 block, 1 hurry, 1 knockdown, 1 int

When ACI traded OLB Edwin Stoner to Omaha, one of the factors was the progression of Fisher. That progression continues as Fisher leads the Phantoms in sacks and interceptions.

Question for the Week:

Can Brustkern be a consistent running threat in the Phantoms offense? He has a ton of skill but has shown that he will struggle on occasion. This week, he gained 106 yards but also had 15 carries of 2 yards or less. Brustkern will need to do better than that late in games if ACI is trying to hold a lead.

BY THE NUMBERS
11:10 – Time of possession advantage for ACI
0/11 – Boston on 3rd downs
63- Rushing yards allowed by ACI
76 – Passing yards allowed by ACI

UP NEXT
@ Fargo (2-8)
