Week 12 Picks by Jimmy the Geek Game of the Week #9 Tulsa @ #6 Hartford -4 Hartford is coming off their first loss of the season to Brooklyn in week 11. Is there a chink in the Attack armor? The Bombers were able to weather the “Attack” in the first 1 ½ quarters only giving up 3 field goals and held Hartford to 54 yards rushing. Brooklyn was then able to score the next 23 points in a huge upset. Tulsa is at 6-4 and just had a big win over Denver. If Tulsa can keep Hartford under 100 yards rushing and keep the game close heading into the 4th quarter, this game could get interesting. However, Hartford is still the best team in the league and it seems foolish to pick against them. Almost Game of the Week #3 Durham -2 @ #7 Anchorage Durham, 7-3, are trying to keep up with Omaha in their division and can’t afford a loss. Anchorage is at 8-2 and has a 3 game lead in their division. When looking at the roster, the Bulldogs would appear to have a clear advantage. Go with Durham as they get an important win.
