2 studs at high value positions and some backups...we will take kt.

Hope to compete for a playoff spot this season.

Mixed reviews, but overall not bad.
QB Gietka finally took a bit of a ratings hit in his 13th season, but he's still the second highest rating QB in the league in my scouts view.

First round draft pick WR Matt Fry fully justified his selection with the 23rd pick with a big jump.

Second round pick S Lincoln Stevenson is a big bust.

Looks like I got long term starters at FB and C with my 4th and 7th round picks.

Otherwise, not surprised by the hits to my vets. Hartford has one of the oldest rosters in the league.

We're set at every offensive position but are thin at almost every defensive position.

After reviewing the first round draft picks
- The very deep WR looks just as good today as it did when the draft was revealed
- Boston got a great player with the first overall pick, but he isn't the perfect player that he looked like originally. El Paso got a better player at 1.17.
- S Jimmie Mahoney will be an good player but is not what you want if you take a S in the top 10
- The OLBs had a bad offseason but are still solid starters.
- Only real bust is CB Aiden Bates (Denver).
- Guard Marty Carlisle has the highest future potential of any player.

It looks like there is a surprise quarterback controversy in Durham!

Good training camp, old guys did well...still hate that it is Week 2 instead of Training Camp. WR Tyler is holding out. We should be albe to return him to the flock, but it will cost a little money.

Still kicking myself for messing with my priority list before going to bed and taking a RB Webster instead of DE Winter "is coming".

Good luck to all this season,
Dean Gullberry
