Great first half for us allowing just 1/5 for 3rd down with 2 picks however we gave up an 85 yard run and a bomb before halftime to only be up 14-10 after our offense got bogged down at midfield a couple times including a fumble.

We had a lot of 2 yards ad a cloud of dust runs continuing into the 2nd half but picked up first downs to keep the field position battle even and overall were averaging 5 yards a carry, going into the 4th we were in the orange zone and hoping to add to our lead but ended up punting from the 35 (!!!!). The defense held however and we got back between the 40s before handing it back to Tucson with 10 minutes left however we picked up the funble this time and rookie sensation Ferguson cashed in to go up 11. We noticed at this time that Tucson had 0 penalties which is just mindboggling.

They would have 8 minutes to mount their comeback. It took them less than 5 minutes to get in the end zone but the coverage held on the 2 pointer so they would be needing another TD. After picking up a 3rd and long with some aggressive playcalling, a 3rd down penalty on Tucson and one broken run we managed to run the clock down to take home the W. The yardage wasn't impressive but our QB picked up 9/13 3rds in the air (so much for that 0 3rd down passing bar) and even with running out the clock we averaged almost 5 yards on the ground so the offense did enough to support the D.

GG Masked,

We've never beaten Gietka and probably never will.

Another key win puts us at 6-4 overall, winning 4 of our last 5 and three in a row. Feel like we're back on track after the rough start and now we're in the 2nd of two wildcard spots.

We have an the bye to heal injuries to two starters and then we finish with three at home and three on the road. Can we do it?
