:x Doh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This Rookie made the biggest rookie mistake.
Sat Hedges(QB) and some other regulars in week 17 so they wouldnt get hurt, and I just went through inactive and active players for midweek and playoff game. Result a heartbreaking 16-13 OT loss to Anchorage with a second round rookie QB. Oh well there is always next year.

And I still only beat you in overtime with a 51 yd FG. As a reward I get Honolulu on the road, yay.

I don't understand this game sometimes? lol

I submitted both a midweek and a gameday, both rosters should have been fine as fine as putting the right amount of players, I didn't sign anyone on gameday, I had the right position groups and didn't get warned when I hit export at any time... so when the game is simmed, it signs a qb (I had Kranz listed as the emergency starter, like is supposed to be allowed in this versioN) I assume when the game rejected that move, it allowed them to sign people and change who I listed active and inactive, it benched anyone who was hurt at all, including probable players) but the weirdest thing is this... I had two good backup qb's behind Kranz, one was a 45/45 and the other 53/77... so why in the blue hell would the cpu decide to start the 23/41 free agent qb pickup!?

Oh well, looks like it was a decent game, but all of that especially the qb logic when I was supposed to be able to list an injured qb, third made no sense to me.

We are using the updated version aren't we? (sighs)

Congrats to Memphis and good luck to the remaining playoff teams!

Ouch - sorry to hear 'bout your QB mess.

I don't think the commish is using 5.1b yet - we were intending to wait until the offseason to do that upgrade.

Well that would explain most of it... lol

I am in too many leagues and it is hard to keep track of which version to use at times...

Still why dwould the cpu choose to start a free agent pickup at Qb when I had two better healthy options there? Things that make you go hmmm!? lol

Ugh, what an ugly display of offense... :(

Hopefully I'll be able to renegotiate some contracts or else that's probably gonna be the last Rockets playoff game for a long while.

Cap hell ain't fun. :(

I hear ya - both offenses really struggled, and my special teams play was particularly atrocious (we had not one but TWO punts that we returned for -8 yards!). Tough, ugly game, but it was tight throughout and featured an exciting rally by your Rockets to send it into OT.

I also hear ya about the cap hell - I'm not sure what I'm gonna do next year. One thing seems certain, though: this overachieving squad is going to lose some talent in the offseason, talent we really can't afford to lose since this is really an 8-8 team that lucked into a good record.

But those are tears to be cried another day. Congratulations on your team's inspired effort today, JeeberD!
