Players to watch:

Detroit Vampires DE Scott Flowers
Superstar DE was the first overall pick in 2004 out of Harvard. Possibly the greatest defensive player ever at Harvard, Flowers had 5 sack and 37 tackles in his 2nd year in the CFL. Flowers looks to blossom in the coming season.

Santa Cruz DT Harold Stoltzfus
The former Oklahoma State Cowboy only started in 7 games last season due to injury yet still has two sacks and 24 tackles. Look for this stud to rebound and dominate in this next season.

Seattle QB Charles Dever
This is a contract year for the fourth-year Seattle franchise QB out of Purdue. After another aweful year in Seattle will the teams most important player stick with his team? This season should be interesting in the Great NW.

Free Agents to watch:

Santa Cruz DE Ralph Clark
Widely considered the best Free Agent available on the market, Clark a nine year vet from Indiana will undoubtably be highly coveted by teams looking to upgrade. Clark had 23 tackles and 6.5 sacks in 2005.

Long Beach WLB Hollis Beardsley
The 2-time 2nd team All-League OLB from Kent will also be high on teams list. He started 14 games in 2005 logging 80 tackles.

Hartford WR Curtis Plotkin
Was 2005 2nd team All-League WR with 65 catches for 1,151 yards. Will likely break the bank in his next contract.

A great set of articles and previews. Me like!

Just a note on my DE Flowers, don't know if you know but he missed all of 2004 with an injury suffered in the preseason so I was really happy to have him back in 2005 and he really has taken huge strides in the 2nd half of the season. Looking forward to his next season!
