How does one go about changing a team name?

Can I rename the Las Vegas Crawfish?

Who puts crawfish in the desert? Really...

Can I now be known as the Las Vegas Rounders?

Thanks

BTW, what are the rules/requirements for logos and icons? Better yet, is there a post with all of this good newbie stuff that I may have missed?

TIA!

The Afoci, that's who.

As far as I know, there's no problem with changing a team name when a new owner takes over...

How does one move cities in Multiplayer mode? Albany being in the Great Lakes Division just doesn't seem to fit. I would like to move to Minnesota and become the Minnesota Murder ( meaning a gathering of crowes not the killing one.)

Once a universe is set, I don't think you can switch cities.
What can be done is move your franchise thru the game.

Actually, I think teams have "moved" before out of game. In reality they just have a new city name because in-game they are still in the same place where the team was founded. Or so I believe...

I'm 99% sure Jeeber is correct here...

You guys are probably right, I wasn't there the first year, so it was probably when it happened.

My bad then.

This is correct. Taco's city editor was used before the association was created. But after it's been created teams cannot be moved around at will. It has to be within the game (or someone very smarts needs to mess around with the code inside of the game).

Well, I understand about the moving thing. Maybe I could be the Albany Murder?
