Post subject: | Boston Trade Block 2 |
To see the holes I'm trying to fill (to help you determine what to trade me), see my dynasty post on FOFC here: http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~fof/forums ... stcount=29 [b6f3a150]Player:[/b6f3a150] RB William Sheehan [b6f3a150]Reason:[/b6f3a150] Sheehan is a stud power RB, and will be franchised this year for just under $6 million. Last time I checked (pre 5.1b, though), he wanted a 5 year contract of roughly 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. I'm not convinced that I can afford that, and he's going to hate me after Franchising him anyway. [b6f3a150]Trade Price:[/b6f3a150] Expensive, I'd like a high draft pick, or maybe a stud MLB. I'd also accept a combo of players, picks - see my roster analysis post linked above. [b6f3a150]Player:[/b6f3a150] FL Monty Bridges [b6f3a150]Reason:[/b6f3a150] He hates position leader James Hoch, who I intend to re-sign. [b6f3a150]Trade Price:[/b6f3a150] Cheap. A low draft pick would be fine (any year), or a replacement WR who is a burner (Getting Downfield) or is good at Punt or Kick Returning. I'm not fussy. [b6f3a150]Player:[/b6f3a150] LG Kevin Walunas [b6f3a150]Reason:[/b6f3a150] He wants playing time, but he's not going to get it behind a 2-time All-Pro. Walunas has the potential to be a Monster run-blocker, and has great Endurance. [b6f3a150]Trade Price:[/b6f3a150] Reasonable. A 2nd-round pick or a 3rd (or lower), plus some players I could use (again, see thread linked above). [b6f3a150]Player:[/b6f3a150] RT Gus Klein [b6f3a150]Reason:[/b6f3a150] He wants playing time, but he's not going to get it behind two All-Pros. He has a lot of good potential, and the price is cheap. [b6f3a150]Trade Price:[/b6f3a150] Middling. A 3rd or high 4th round pick, or lower pick(s) & some players I could use. [b6f3a150]Player:[/b6f3a150] RDE Dan Saavedra [b6f3a150]Reason:[/b6f3a150] He's a great run-stopper where I don't need one, and he won't switch to DT. He's also a position leader, but has conflicts with several of my other D-Line guys. [b6f3a150]Trade Price:[/b6f3a150] Reasonable. A decent 2nd-round pick. [b6f3a150]Player:[/b6f3a150] RDE Billy Joe Stoutmire [b6f3a150]Reason:[/b6f3a150] He doesn't fit into my system. He has good potential for the right system, though. [b6f3a150]Trade Price:[/b6f3a150] Middling. A high 4th-round pick or a combo of picks and players is cool. |
