Can anyone explain this decision to me?

4-4-LVS41 (2Q: 02:37) Play-Action. Camden Dargy scrambled for 6 yards. Tackled by S Adrian Sweazy. PENALTY: C Gene Archer of Cleveland was called for Offensive Holding. The penalty was declined.

Why would we decline this on defense? Accepting the penalty would have forced another 4th down, distance dependent on where the hold occurred.

Is penalty logic broken in FOF 8?

I pulled up that game log, and yeah, that makes absolutely no sense. However, I remember some people complaining on FOFC about the logs not being right, about how it got the blitzer wrong a lot amongst other issues. My hope is that this is an error in reporting what actually happened on that play via the log instead of the penalty logic being dumber than fuck.

I seriously don't understand how a single person could give this game in the current state a positive review on Steam.

So touchdowns should be worth 5-1/2 points because...preseason?

No coach at any level would decline that penalty for any reason. They would feel compelled to quit coaching if they did. An official would prevent a coach from making that call purely on principle.

Just kidding Turf, yeah that is a bug and a big one. This is the first time I've seen something like this in 8 and I hope it's just a one time thing but if that happens to me in a regular season or god forbid a playoff game, I'll be pissed.

I've started another list of issues I"m sending to support so I'll add this one too it.

Some issues I've noticed;

- Can't make Air Coryell pass plays in playbook

- In Preseason the AI will sub your FS in at DT, SLB at FS and so on.

- The Leader system is broken, if you have a new potential leader it will use him to determined your friends instead of your current leader.

- Your D coordinator will call plays directly from your playbook when they are not in the gameplan.

Those are just some of the issues I've found.
