Quality win vs. Tulsa brings us to 6-1 and sitting well in our divisional race. Up next is rookie phenom Irv Clements who has loads of potential but limited weapons at his disposal. We should win this one but if Clements gets on fire who know what may come. |

GG Santa Cruz We were able to grind out a sloppy win with 0 total touchdowns in the game. That makes it two wins in a row now, I'm proud of how the team is fighting back from a poor start. Irv Clements added 2 interceptions to his league leading total, but the defense stepped up and bailed him out. The offensive line continues to shine as they give career nobody Todd Harrison massive holes to run through. |

SOB, we lost another tight one as rival Denver just outdid us when it counted. Our 2nd half possessions were just terrible. I really wish there was a "fill" option in the offensive gameplan where you could pick 20-30 plays or so and then just have AI do the rest, I feel like I repeat things too much and even without familiars it leads to lesser performance. I was shocked to see how poor the ypa figure was for Denver as it seemed they got quite a few intermediate gains on 2nd and long but both of us were under 50% completion rate. And unsurprisingly both teams ran it well with Denver adding some key 3rd and medium conversions (I really gotta start looking for this). I would complain about giving up 10-point-swing TO return TD but we also had one so that all shook out more or less fair. I think we will have to spread the targets around a bit more and find something to do to improve our run D (looking for a trade!), we already play a lot of single high coverage but maybe we should start using the buzz option more. We want to win a playoff game this year and even if Pythag thinks we are a top 5 team we still are 4-3 and can't have any many more woulda shoulda coulda outcomes. |

GG nexttwelveexits.... That was the most competitive game we've had in a while. We lost bad to St.Louis and I thought we were going to get loss number 2 against you. We did just enough to secure the W, but we have some issues to address. Fortunately we have a week off to figure it out and get fully healthy. |
