Now that's more like it, 16 pass attempts (just 1 screen and 1 short) and 26 points generated by the O.

Honolulu and then Tucson to see if we can perform against some tougher competition.

GG Boise

Well that was a strange one. So our main QB Irv Clements breaks his tibia on an inside handoff play (how on earth does that happen??) and is out for 8 weeks. Backup Dillon McKnight comes in and plays alright for a series or two and then goes out with a strained achilles tendon and is out for 4 weeks. Trouble for us is we only keep 2 active QBs, so we had to turn to wide receiver Wayne Struble to be our QB. Things look pretty bleak, right?

Wrong! Struble comes in and throws 2 touchdown passes with no interceptions. He also then recovers a blocked punt for a touchdown. What a heroic performance! Our defense was dominant, only allowing 136 total yards.

We're at 5-2 now, but have a real QB problem. This is probably going to kill any shot we had at making the playoffs, unless our defense can keep carrying us

Well, we lose. Second year qb had a bad game and we're blown out. His bars don't look too bad, but his leadership and desire to win ratings aren't copacetic. So, we'll go back to our nine year (ho hum) vet at qb and see what happens. O line is doing well, but we need two missing pieces and it's a very nice line. D line is in a similar situation. Rebuilding takes patience, so we'll see.

Yikes.... We stole one in Cleveland.

Two strange things in this game:

1- My kicker goes off with a concussion and my punter actually did pretty well as his replacement. Not as well as Wayne Strubble apparently, but well.

2- End of game logic for Cleveland must have King Kosar pulling his hair out:

2-10-CLE41 (4Q: 00:18) Play-Action. Richard McCormick pass completed to WR Brandon Siler for 44 yards. Tackled by OLB Deion Stanton. Siler gained 13 yards after the catch. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.

Cleveland called a time out.

1-10-TEN15 (4Q: 00:11) Rufus Vance ran inside the right tackle for 1 yard. Tackled by S Cole Bradford, assisted by OLB Howie Lugo.

Final Score: Tennessee Militia 27, Cleveland Sentries 24

Wait....wh..wh.. what?
Damn...There's going to be a tough discussion about that sequence in Cleveland.

GG Kosar.... Best of luck the rest of the way. You have a very good team.

Hey ThePelvicWoo, do you need a midweek for monday to sign a qb or are you going to stick with Struble?

I'm really struggling to stay interested with FOF but I've been managing this team for a very long time.
