After a disappointing 4-12 season the Tulsa Talons are looking to fill a few key areas this offseason. The team struggled under rookie QB Donnie Lowe, especially late in the year after RB Butch Fulton went out. Lowe struggled and threw only 2,300 yards and 8 TDs along with 21 INTs, one of the main focuses this offseason will be to solidify the WR core. Daniel Campbell proved he is not yet ready for the full time starting role and another flanker will be brought in to compete with Campbell and Thornberry for the starting role. At the other WR position Charles Lindberg had a less than stellar year with only 523 yards, and 3 TDs. That can be attributed to a rookie QB and heavy running game. Even after the down year the Talons and Lindberg were able to come to an agreement on a restructuring deal and extension. The Talons locked Lindberg up for another 2 years giving him 6 years left on his deal which will allow him to finish his career up in Tulsa. The other SE position is currently being held by former 4th round pick Harvey Ross. Another SE will be brought in during either FA or the draft to compete with Ross for the # 4 WR spot, if someone is brought in and wins the position Ross
