Say I think I vaguely remember there is a rule against taking a coach from a team. Are there actually any rules involved or do we just pick from the in game list? |

No rule, if you come to the live draft you get to pick from the live list of coaches. If you put in a draft list, you just pick from the available coaches in game. If you let the computer pick, just put in the preference file in game. |

Veg may be referring to the in-game rule where you can't hire someone else's coach away unless 1) it is for a promotion, i.e. offensive coordinator for a head coaching spot OR 2) they are in the last year of their contract |

I believe you can poach someone else's staff if they are in the last year of their contract and at least 4 draft positions lower than you.
