Definitely seeing some weird changes on this year's Judgement Day.

Has anyone else seen guys that had leveled off at a single number jump back to a current/potential rating? I don't recall seeing that before but my young OG Bates went from 46/50 to a 50/51 during the off season, from 50/51 to 51 after Training Camp, and from 51 to 47/52 after Pre-2. So the overall net change was a +1/+2 but occurred over 3 changes from the start of the 2055 season through Judgement Day.

I'm also not used to seeing older vets who lose 1 or 2 points through TC, come back with small gains to have net +1 or +2 gains after Judgement Day. It's usually no changes all pre-season for the old guys followed by a 3-to-9 point face plant after Judgement Day. I'm not complaining, just seeing some weird stuff this year and was wondering if others are seeing the same.

I also saw a significant shift

I wonder if it was a change in coaching staff for you? I think the ratings are your coaches estimate of the player rather than a consensus of the league. One thing I don't especially like is that we have a "league scout" that evaluates our players and this is what we get to see when we click on their ratings. If this is the case, you'd like to see their scouting ability better than what our league scout is at currently. With his rating, I'd assume the opposite of what he says is actually more likely for many of my players (i.e. they improved if he felt they worsened and vice versa).

We are mostly happy with our class. Wombly looks like he is still legit, we'll see if he matches his future rating but he looked decent in Pre-season action at least. We got a couple OL guys that could be solid for future as well as a LB that could be solid as well. I don't expect us to be very competitive for at least a couple years but the future seems to be brighter at least.

I have tempered my enthusiasm some after looking over the league's rosters and realizing we have had a good run of elite QBs drafted in this league and Wombly will only help us be competitive...he won't separate us.

All of these were post staff hiring stage, so these changes occurred through the same eyes throughout the process.

I am used to the changes between seasons when staff changes are made, but this is the first time I saw the changes I mentioned during the current season.

Pretty chalk for me, 2nd year wideout Spradling took a bit of a hit but as a no combine all bars guy that was to be expected at some point and he was still a great steal.

Love that my 2nd round pick held, adding 2 marquee players per year can do wonders for a team and we have had quite a run the last few drafts.

I swear this game exists to screw my team over, my stud MLB fell 30 points for no good reason, and my draft class was forgettable again. If it wasn't for my game against NO I'd probably just quit
