Hosting rival Miami, thye aren't what they used to be but as long as they still have Otis Perry they are a threat to us. We ran em over in Week 1 and decided to just redo the same GP but anything could really happen here today...

We couldn't overcome the holding call to open things but got our own 3andO to retake possession. We got a couple 1sts but had to settle for a FG. Another punt from MIA and we recovered our fumble during the punt return. A couple 10+ yard runs got us to midfield but we got stuffed twice with 2nd and goal form teh 1 and opted to take the 3 points and go up 6 early in the 2nd.

Some great tackling helped hold MIA to jsut 1 first but they pinned us at our 3. Fulton finally broke off a big run for 40 to get us across midfield but we promptly threw a pick in teh face of pressure. Again though MIA coudn't string together 1sts and we coudlnt do much with 4 minutes bringin us into the half up 6.

Our D is keeping us in this one as we weren't being able to generate much in the air and goo situational D by MIA had them within one score.

We stuffed them on 3rd and 1 to get another 3andO but this time lost the PR fumble setting htem up in FG range. A penalty and long run got them a 1st at our 2 yard line and they got the TD on a 3rd down screen pass (lol FOF!) but NO they missed the xP (lol FOF! x2). A big KR and downfield catch from fumbler Spadling had us within FG range quickly and we take advantage of a defensive penalty mulligan on 3rd and long to covnert and work it down for a 1st and 10 from their 11 but Fulton loses it going around the end and MIA takes over at their 7. 3andO from MIA wiht another faile dcopletion on 3rd and we take over at their 40. A failed conversion of our own leads to a 4th and 1 and long G attempt, which is blocked.

They strung together some dink passes and finally Kemp generated some YAC for them to get into scoring range and they take a 3 point lead to openthe 4th. Otis Perry goes out on the KR coverage, we battle for some tough conversions but boot it into the end zone from the orange zone. MIA managed to take nearly 5 minutes off the clock and pins us at our 3. Our 3andO gives MIA great field position to make it a 6 point game at least and the FB takes it to the house shortly thereafter to put MIA up 10 just outside of 2 minutes. And we can't do shit, so MIA take shome the upset victory...

Another defensive performnce wasted due to TOs, this time we were -3 as those 2 PR fumbles in the rain really hurt us. To be honest we s still coudl have won with a bit better performance form our passing game but we just couldn't crack the puzzle completing less than 50% for less than 4 ANY/A and lss than 2 YAC/catch and 0/1 in the RZ.

Bbriders is still the man it looks like, nice W!

For sure St. Louis. I should be mad that our record could easily be very different as we have lost all of our very close one possession games. I'm still trying to find out why my QB is playing completely out of his mind for what his bars are. I know my scout loved him pre draft but he went down a little bit during EX2 which was frustrating. I'm hoping he might be a hidden gem and make a jump next season.

GG Ushikawa.

We haven't gotten much right this year but Kwan didn't turn the ball over and we took advantage of your turnovers.

I think Kwan must like playing in Fargo. He usually has a decent game when we play at Fargo.

Managed to beat our in-state rivals, El Paso, and our good season continues to chug along. I had tempered enthusiasm about this season with a rookie QB starting out but Womble was fairly pro-ready compared to some so has been able to actually elevate the offensive play.

Yeah - messed around with my game plan a little and sat my #1 receiver. Stupid. Lol. I knew this was trap game, but I just couldn't help myself. Congrats on the win. I'm sure that if you get only 1 win this season, this is the one you wanted. :)
