gg Atlanta.
Our offense was unremarkable and our defense gave up huge chunks of yardage but we were fortunate in the turnover department and had the benefit of a kick return TD. I guess I should be pretty happy we've won 2 straight to pull to 4-5 on the season but I don't see a lot of positive signs in these wins.

Hosting Tucson in a trap game as they don't look too bad actually despite their record and that rookie QB is getting better every snap.

We pound it it with a couple intermediate completions on the way to get 7 early. Both teams struggle on O but have great punts before both squads find rhythm passing especially on screens and add a TD each.

TUC gest stuffed but we fumble the PR (this is getting ridiculous) and TUC gets 3 to cut the lead to 4. A penalty derails us and we end up punting from the orange zone. TUC's drive stalls out and we get another TD with some nice efficient passing just outside of 2 minutes. And we tack on 3 more after getting the stop.

We go on to get he blowout in the 2nd.

Well seems my bitching got to the FOF gods and things were pretty good. That O'Neill looks to be dang good someday soon and the rest of your team is solid Sven, hang in there!

GG Fargo. I'm not sure I understand why my backup QB came in the game in the fourth. Backup QB also threw two picks...

Still, I think it might be time to unleash this potential monster QB I have. I think I've got him set for short passes a majority of the time, maybe its time to stretch the field.

...and we'll be doing quite the opposite. Most of the way through the first half, McKnight was 1/10 - yes, 10% completion percentage.

I looked at the final numbers to see we were 3/19 on Deep passes in this OT victory where McKnight threw the ball 60 times! He was under 50% going 26/60 but I think he got game MVP because not one of those was an interception. Even with an OT period, 19 deep balls in a game is insane to attempt.

I think I found the source of the problem and will revamp this revamped offense one more time. Maybe we'll get the right mix of plays to get this guy back to where he was before we changed up the offense.

I think there is something real about those FOF Gods TT.......

Obviously we pissed them off this week. Gut wrenching losses to divisional foes puts our karma back to a flat-line after such a lucky start to the year.....

GG Bgbob....... We just couldn't score in the second half to keep up.

Big Division win for us. Both of our games were tight this season. Think I finely got my team moving in the right direction. Don't think I'm good enough though.

During Week 9, the Baltimore Bombers found themselves neck and neck in a special teams duel swirling around a dirty toilet bowl. Brooklyn would overcome the murky waters, ultimately won the game, thus advancing to 2-6. Baltimore slumped to a disappointing 1-7 on the season. Local sports radio hosts berated the team to bench a largely ineffective Corey Amadro in favor the 1st round draft pick Tracy Langhoff. On the grounds that things can’t get much worse, that’s exactly what happened.

A beleaguered Baltimore Bombers team squared off against the seemingly playoff bound St. Louis Arches in front of a largely vacant stadium. I made a few alterations to my gameplan from last week, most notably, the quarterback. Tracy, for being a rookie with significant rust performed better than I had expected. I don’t have long term plans for the kid, but he can play. The one interception that he tossed was a result of good defensive gameplan. It was an out route against press one. Running back headed towards the sideline and the corner just jumped the route. Squeaked out a win. Balance contributions on both sides of the ball.

The Bombers played strong defense, two picks, finally a halfway decent pass rush. Pat “The Big Pig” O’Donnell recorded a half a sack under my regime finally. Hard for the big-boy to stay on the field.

I’m looking forward to text week. Lot of time to plan. All of the games I’ve played since I took over have been pretty close. Looking forward to rearming next year via draft and FA. If I could squeak out the win next week and win out the division, I could be a .500 or sub .500 as a wildcard. LOL. Lets gooooooo! 10000 simulations gives me like a .01%

GG kc_fan, we rematch week 17. You can pay me back then.

GG TT.

Weird game. Both starting QBs struggled to get completions. We lost our safety Kramer at halftime and then McNight started completing more passes. McNight came through at the end of the game scrambling for the TD. Big run for a guy that doesn't scramble. Sad loss in OT.

gg bbriders,

I don't know how the small changes I made resulted in so many deep pass attempts, but that could be the reason his completion percentage has been so low this year, I guess I need to re-evaluate the results from previous games and see if that was the issue previously. This one just stood out like a sore thumb.

It was definitely a tough watch and we're lucky to walk away with a win in this one.
