This is where you will set your preferences for your coaches and the computer will draft them for you if you don't get any of the coaches on your list.

Export and then PM me your Live Draft Preference list;

Example list;

***Joining the Live Draft, I'll have my Teamspeak Server up if any owner wants to join. You'll actually have the option to draft Live.. PM me if you'd like to join and I'll send you my sever IP and password.

*** I'm using Twitch.tv to stream the draft live so you can see the updated coach available in real time. This is a game changer....

There are 3 ways you can do the draft.

1. use the draft function with in the game and export your draft preference with in game. Do a normal stage export.

2. you can send in a list of coaches you want me to draft for you

3. you can draft live, we use twitch.tv and teamspeak. Your pick will come up and you'll have a chance to draft live.

Thanks guys and lets have some fun with this.

by Ushikawa at Mon Jan 08, 2018 06:27 PM

Cant make it unfortunately. I would like to be there but I have to work.

by Teutoberg at Mon Jan 08, 2018 09:51 PM

I have an event to attend I probably wont make it. But if I do it'd only be for a couple of minutes

by ket494 at Tue Jan 09, 2018 12:29 PM

Sorry, never can do this as my life is insanely busy all the time. The only reason I can play this game is it is something I can download and upload in a quick manner at (more or less) my convenience.

by BazookaJohnny at Wed Jan 10, 2018 07:45 AM

I will be there! Swapped some time at work so I can make the draft. I may be there at 805-810pm EST. So shortly after the start.

by Teutoberg at Thu Jan 11, 2018 08:46 PM

Anyone Else in? It's a fun time.

by Teutoberg at Mon Jan 15, 2018 06:57 PM

by JJ Smitty at Wed Jan 17, 2018 04:01 AM

Send in those draft lists if you can't make it people!

FOF8 Discussion on Thursday at 6 PM MST,

We'll have a structure to the discussion this time,

We'll go over offense first, then defense and if time just general questions.

It took me awhile to warmed up to FOF8. You kinda have to search alittle harder with this version to find the sweet spot.

Lets have some fun with it, Who's in?

In, cya there.

by Teutoberg at Mon Nov 27, 2017 11:38 AM

Ill be there; sounds like fun! I've got some questions on both sides of the ball.

by Jander3456 at Mon Nov 27, 2017 03:07 PM

Anyone else interested?

by JJ Smitty at Thu Nov 30, 2017 05:38 AM

I am a tentative yes.

by Ushikawa at Thu Nov 30, 2017 06:15 AM

I think I should be able to make it.

by bbriders at Thu Nov 30, 2017 07:03 AM

I'll see if I can get home early and join for 30 minutes or so.

by Masked at Thu Nov 30, 2017 09:27 AM

I'd like too but the timing probably isn't going to work for me. Is someone taking notes?? :D

by Aamalin at Thu Nov 30, 2017 10:37 AM

I'm going to the Cowboy game, wish I could attend, maybe next time. Will the discussion be posted...

by FlexD at Thu Nov 30, 2017 04:28 PM

Discussion notes;

We just kinda chatted about the game in general, nothing too specific, I just tried to answer peoples questions the best I could.

by JJ Smitty at Fri Dec 01, 2017 10:25 AM

A few key takeaways we had:

We think mentors seem to be important for leadership on a team. We also think affinities make a difference, and also whether or not players are angry/upset/demanding trade. I for one got rid of all the conflicts in my locker room and all we have left are affinities.

We also discussed that if you have a strong #1 CB that having him shadow the #1 WR from the other team is recommended. This is under Game plan Details. Example CB Jace Norgard from Honolulu.

We also discussed about offensive game planning. While some owners believe feeding it to your best guys at all times, I'm a firm believer in spreading the ball around. Now you want probably at least 50% of your targets going to your best guys, per example WR Stan Wilt and TE Tim Morris from Honolulu. And then spread the rest out to your #2 and #3 WRs, RBs, extra TEs. This philosophy is especially true if you're running a spread offense like myself.

If I remember more I'll rewrite this post.

by Teutoberg at Fri Dec 08, 2017 10:53 PM

Thanks Teutoberg.

by bbriders at Sat Dec 09, 2017 10:09 AM

here's some more thoughts;

I found out playcalling from your cordinators play a big part of a successful gameplan on either side.

I think the list goes; (most to less influential)

Players ratings
Coaches Playcalling rating
RNG (random number generator)
Gameplan

In FOF7 it went like;

Gameplan
players ratings
RNG
Coaches playcalling
