Big rematch from last year's POs against DVY. THey are banged up but we will see if Alvin Stone can put us down like last season.. We go 3andO not beign able to convert a 3rd and short and former Fargo RB Wojdi-something gets them to mdifield on a big run and gets them to to a 1st and goal, we accept a penalty after a failed 3rd down (what!!!) but it turns out to be the right decision as they miss the longer FG. Fulton takes over for us and Crabtree takes a screen to the house to put us up 7. TE England grabs a deep oen and adds 30 ayrds of YAC to get them into our RZ but we pick them in the endzone. Some solid running and 2 big Crabtree gains get us to their 20 and Woodard finds Fulton twice in the air to have us up 14-0. Another game where both teams are at 10 ypp early. Stone beats double coverage on a 3rd and long but they get bottled up and flip the field on us. Fulton is battling us out of our end but Crabtree leaves the game with an injury (YIKES!) last itme this happened our rookie bust ended up getting too many targets and sunk us. He actually grabs a deep ball on the next pass though and manage to flip the field this time. We force a 3andO to get on top of the field position and WR Spradling bails us out on 3rd and very long with a 40 yard gain and the rookei WR gets us up 21. Buckley is dealing in the 2 minute drill but again we pick him deep in our end to go into thehalf lookiing very nice even tackign on a FG. We have only had 3 3rd downs and while DVY is also at 7 ypp the TOs and situational football means they have 0 points. Our rush derails DVY and a seldom RB screen to Fulton gets us close to midfield and we ride him to another 3rd and short failure but get 3 more with a long FG and backup Qb Burnett enters for DVY on the next series. THey get a 60 yard catch adn run TD to narrow the lead to 20 and we go backwards on our next 2 possessions so it isn't quite ballgame yet. They convert a 4th and 1 early in the 4th and get a FG while we lose our best CB Gruttadaria. Woodard keeps dealing though and we get the clock down to 6 mintues and kick a FG after yet another 3rd and short failure. So now that is ballgame. Costly win for us, we lose Crabtree for 2 weeks as well as our coveerman with stud ILB Sutter also getting a VIrla infection in the middle of the game somehow. GG Jander, feel llike if a few of those early die rolls had goen yoru way then we coudla had a real shootout. Hopefulyl will find the tiem to figure out what is happening to us on D as it woudl be great to not start each game giving up 10 ypp, it does seem though that our rush tends to take hold as the gaem wears on. Woodard had maybe his best game for us beign efficient as well as hitting impact plays benefitting greatly from excellent pas pro. We got Fulton involved in the passing game which isn't normally our MO but it went quite well. We climb a bit into a 1,5 game lead in the division with a tough game at NOLA next week. |

GG Honolulu. We were fortunate to face you minus your veteran starting QB and still barely managed to escape with a W. We jumped out to an early 17-0 lead and seemed to put it in coast mode, only managing a FG the rest of the way. Our defensive front pressured your young QB but he acquitted himself well in spite of this. Good luck the rest of the year...hopefully the injury bug goes away for you. On a side note: our division SUCKS! We took sole possession of the top spot with a 6-6 record and nobody in our division has a positive point differential. As it stands it will be Death Valley or us going to the playoffs with a high likelihood of being torn to shreds for all the nation to see. Not sure that is as good as getting the consolation prize of 2nd place and a MUCH better draft slot. |

GG Ravenhawk, We final put a game together on offense and defense. Harrison throws 5 TD's into a route of last years champ, maybe this team his something left in the tank for a playoff run. Good Game man. |

GG Miami and good luck the rest of the way. You have a great QB and we didn't want to lose with him throwing to WR Baker all day. Our red zone defense played very well in allowing 3 fg's in three trips. This game could have been very different otherwise. Miami did an excellent job shutting down our run game, thankfully our downfield passing was able to keep us afloat. It was a nice bounce back game for our QB, after his 4int game last week. It was also good to see my converted rb to wr really get involved in the passing game, catching 6 of 7 targets. He came up with some nice chunk plays largely in part due to his yac and breaking tackles. Special shout out to CB Daniel Kennedy...We signed him mid year. He played 49 snaps today and only had 2 negative plays, allowed 2 catches and had 1 pd. He's just a guy that came in and is doing his job. Get to 10 wins, that's the goal right now. We get 10 wins we have a chance at the playoffs. This division has been dominated by Alaska and Boise City so it wont be easy with 2 of the 4 remaining games vs those two teams. |

gg C. I almost called this a trap game going in but we were thoroughly beaten. I still don't understand my team, especially my QB. I guess I'll scratch this one up as another example of my 83 rated QB possibly being a bust. No matter how much I try to game plan some high percentage passing schemes, he still goes a total of 7/23 on Medium and Long routes. I guess next season my playbook will need to have the longer routes removed from all pass plays so this guy doesn't go downfield on every play. We really need to beat sub-500 teams if we hope to get a home game in the playoffs. |

GG Mac We couldn't seem to faze Fraaije and your receivers were making plays. Our defense didn't hold and our offense failed in the redzone. Now a game behind Fargo. If this continues we'll end up seeing the rookie QB start by the end of the season. |
