# The voting period shall begin at the start of the first free agency period and end at midnight EST before the training camp stage is simulated.

# All votes shall be cast by secret ballot submitted to the Hall of Fame Director by Private Message (PM) on the CFL Forum. Only current team owners may vote and only one vote shall be cast per team.

[b72db24b]Genaro Burke was one of those guys that always rung in your head as a lockdown corner. You knew when playing against Honolulu, not only did you have to deal with Ronnie Tu, but your top Wideout was effectively rendered useless as he was being covered by Genaro Burke. He wasn't an aggressive corner that would pick off passes and take them to the house, but he turned completions into incompletions on a daily basis.

Weldon "Workhorse" Rayburn may not have been your high profile running back to the likes of a [player]Butch Fulton[/player] however he was as his nickname described him: A workhorse. He is currently 3rd on the list of all-time rushers with 12,628 yards and 4th on the all time rushing TD list with 72 TD's. He was steady, consistent and would grind out the yards when the Shreveport Pride needed them. He currently leads the league with 9 1000+ yard rushing seasons. Workhorse Rayburn was a threat coming out the backfield as a receiver, too, netting 348 receptions, 2694 yards and 18 TD's. All told Rayburn got to the paint 90 times throughout his career, not including the playoffs. Unfortunately for him, one moment in CFL Bowl history has made him infamous. That fateful day in Lubbock, TX at CFL Bowl VII (http://www.thecfl.net/2009.html) Rayburn fumbled the ball going into the endzone in an effort that would have put the Pride up by 1 point in the third quarter. School has been kicking my ass this semester so I hadn't had a chance to really look at this thread, I just went through it and to me it seems like all the players nominated would've gotten my nomination, and all the ones that were not I would've left off as well.

As much as I would like to nominate [player]Nickolas Snodgrass[/player] I just can, he had 3 great years to start his career and then he really just sank away. He would maybe make it to the hall of really good players, but never the hall of legends (although those first 3 years, he was well on his way to being a league legend- much like Tu was at QB).

After a couple of rather uneventful seasons in New Orleans, Manos came to Detroit in 2005 and became the focal point of the Vampire offense that made it to the CFL Bowl 2 seasons in a row. Manos redefined the TE position, changing it from the plain old blocker of old to the modern 'power receiver' of today.

Manos led the Vampires in catches in 7 consecutive seasons from 2006 to 2012, and yards receiving from 2006 to 2010. He retires as the leading Vampire in receptions, yards receiving, TD receptions.

League wide, he retired as #3 all-time in receptions (and still is, one year later) and #8 in TD receptions.

He is also clearly, and by far, the #1 TE in receptions (has 140 more than the #2), in receiving yards (has 1,700 yards than the #2), TD receptions.

Despite all his receiving skills, Manos still did his part on the line. With 75 KRBs, he also leads all TEs in the category.[/colord21aa04]

RB Arthur Brady

Brady played for Chicago all but the final year of his career. For a long time he was the Chicago offense. Sadly his time with our mediocre team cost him the opportunity to get a ring. He did secure some significant awards on his own. He was the league MVP in 2005, 2007, and 2008. He was the Offensive Player of the Year in 2005 and was a 1st and 2nd team all league running back on several occasions. Brady held the all-time rushing record until just recently. For a career he accumulated almost 13,000 rushing yards (averaging over 4 yards per carry) and 51 rushing TDs. He also was a great receiver out of the backfield and tacked on 3,000 yards receiving and 19 more TDs. Of his 11 seasons, Brady shared the rock in 5 of those years. Imagine his numbers had he played for a team that padded his stats. Brady defines superstar running back.
