What should the new New Orleans name be?

Well, following a trend from the other new owners I'm going to rename the Breakers and change the colors/logo. I'm thinking of Sinners to play off the Saints name, but other suggestions are welcome. Did a quick logo, what does everyone think?

Tough choice.

I actually like the Breakers. Reminds me of my USFL days...

I've also always been partial to the New Orleans Voodoo.

And Sinners ain't bad either...

I guess I'm not helping you very much, am I ?

I like the Breakers. Voodoo is a nice nickname as well.

If you do go with Voodoo, here are a couple of options for your helmet / logo :

from the Arena football league :

I actually like Breakers its just that I really hate the colors and lack of logo, if anybody has any suggestions for a cool looking logo for breakers i'd probably keep it.

Vodoo is cool too...actually like the womans league helmet.

I like the breakers name, but I would probably prefer something else. I really like the Voodoo. Possibly the Rajun Cajuns. The drunks? lol- I would vote for the Voodoo or leaving the name as it is.

New Orleans Hurricanes!

Hell of a drink they mix down there.

Other ideas:

New Orleans Grave Robbers
New Orleans Brigantines
New Orleans Pirates
New Orleans River Runners

I also like another name suggested above.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, due to popular demand, i'm staying with the name Breakers, but have gone old school on the logo to the original USFL breakers theme.


And as for the Shreveport Kittens....and the Memphis Mudhens, this team is improved and ready, so watch out!!! :twisted:
