After an all day meeting, the CEO in Atlantic City announced today that the team will suspend their pursuit of RB Marcus Fortin. Several GMs expressed concern over a possible sign and trade and the damaging effects that it could have on the league.

Atlantic City GM thenewchuckd briefly flirted with the idea of simply signing Fortin. He released details today of last his offer: a 60 million dollar bonus, with the remaining money spread equally over the three years of the contract. He expressed frustration that Fortin had not yet accepted his deal. He said if that's what it takes to get Fortin, Charleston can have him.

The organization will now be focusing their efforts elsewhere and will be attempting to use their considerable cap space to sign other free agents.
