Two members of the Attack offense retired. RT Edward Kinney retired after spending time with Death Valley, Denver, and Hartford. He was a 4 time first team All-League starter and 2 time second team honoree. He retires as the all time leader in Pancake Blocks for Denver and 7th in league history. He's got a strong shot and being named to the CFL Hall of Fame.

TE Robert Robertson spent 12 seasons with the attack. He was a starter early in his career and a key reserve for the past 7 seasons. He played long enough to end up dropping the 7th most passes in team history.

On the defensive side, DT Joel Field surprisingly retired after only 9 seasons leaving a hole in my DL.

Big news - WRs Dwayne Cabbage and Rufus Samuels both returned for their 13th seasons.

Other names that caught my eye - former Hartford, Baltimore, and Las Vegas QB Brian Bauer retired. He had three strong seasons with me before I erred and let him walk. Both he and Wes Harden wanted pricy contracts and I decided to stick with Harden - oops. Bauer excelled for Baltimore and had one of the greatest seasons in league history in 2033 when he threw for 4363 yards and 44 TDs with a 114.9 QB rating.

The greatest receiver in league history finally retired - CJ Hicks caught 1,288 passes for 19,367 yards for division rival Boston and lead them to two championships. My secondary is glad to see him go as he got half of those yards against me (including a 13 catch, 293 yard, 3TD performance that still causes me to wake up screaming). He has 4 of the top 6 games for most receiving yards in league history.
