The HTML export has also been updated. The next stage (midweek) will be run tomorrow (Tue, 10/5) at 6am EST.

This game is fucking retarded. In case you haven't noticed, I managed to put myself about a million dollars over the cap in the export before this last one. Basically, I tried to sign 7 free agents, but didn't have the cap room to do so. I was supposed to rework 3 players' contracts to get this room, but forgot to do so (so yes, I'm fucking retarded as well).

But here's the kicker. The game still signed four of the players and put me a good deal over the cap. Now I'm left screwed as the game won't let me negotiate contracts or sign any new free agents. There's no reason as to why I shouldn't be able to work on current players' contracts.

And now the latest; the computer decided to go and release five of my players for no apparent reason.

Anyone have any ideas as to how to approach this?

BTW I don't wish to offend anyone here. The game is not retarded; I obviously love it. I'm just flustered and a little POd.

Chances are..I'll survive.

That bites, though. Hope you're able to sort it all out.

Is there any way the commish can add your players that were cut back on your team ?

That's cool, but it's doubtful that anything can be done.

I'm fine with sucking it up and dealing with it. I'll just have to release some players I guess.

As expected, it doesn't look like I can do anything to alter your situation. I would recommend releasing Gordon to get under the salary cap.

Basically, the game noticed you not having a particular position filled before the game and decided to take over the cutting, signing and lineup setting for you. (Same thing happens if you decide to make any roster moves, change somebody's position or even their number.) Same crap happened to me last offseason and I ended up losing an expensive and rather talented guard for half of the season. And, yes, that DOES make the game seem retarded. It's basically why the mid-week export is needed.
