I traded emails with the commish today regarding picking up New York and I am hoping everything is set since they have the 8th pick and #7 is on the clock.

About a month ago I traded emails with GoldenEagle about picking up a team. However, I didn't go through with it because at the time I was buying a house, moving to said house, and starting a new job.

With all that behind me, though, and with the CFL draft over, I'm interested again in getting involved.

I've been playing SP FOF for about 6 months now and really enjoy it. This will be my first MP experience, though. I came to the CFL board from FOFC, so I'm pretty up on how things function.

With all that in mind, could I have Boston? Also, where is the league currently, preseason?

We are finishing the draft tonight, can you stop by?

Since I'll not have time before then to look over my team and thus I'd just be picking blind, I'd prefer just to let the computer do the rest of the picking for me, if that's OK.

I'll d/l the latest file tonight and start looking my team over, however.

OK, I followed all the instructions and was able to download the league file and view everything OK. Looks good! I'll wait until the end of the draft and then join in the fun. I assume it's still OK if I take Boston?

New York is now another open team. I haven't heard from jamesumd at all and he hasn't posted here in almost 4 weeks. It looks like he abandoned his team. As soon as the FOFC board returns I will update our "CFL openings" thread.
