Heh, thought I was playing Boise for some reason and gameplanned for them. Oh well, still took care of Boston (barely)...

Sorry, flere... :)

Dola-

Wow, alone in first place for the first time ever! I'm sure it won't last long, but it feels mighty fine right now... :D

WR Miles Shumaker, acquired just this week in a trade with Chicago, made his presence known in a big way in his first game as a Toro by catching 10 passes for 150 yards!

That'll help me get through the inevitable buyer's remorse. :)

Glad I could help, JeeberD. :)

I'm a novice to gameplanning, since I let the coaches handle that in SP. Right now I'm figureing out how to get Sheehan to be the focal point of the offense without imploding like we did in Week 1.

Why did I ever trade him away? :(

My offense is so lost without Alvey...

And my OLine is in such shambles..

I hold my opponent to 3.1 yards per play, and still lose...

Manuel was hurried 10 times and sacked 7 times.... and I got 59 yards rushing... A piece of me really wants to try and bring Alvey back early, but if I break him I'm screwed...

Well havent seen the boxscore yet but CHI managed to win after trading Shumaker. He was a 3rd to 4th option for us and needed a new home where his talents to come through. We have be underpaid for him though. Be curious to see if my new stud DT Finley that we acquired as part of that deal had a solid impact in stuffing the opposing offense. From the looks of the score we are gonna be happy in Chicago with the deal as well.

As they say, Win - Win deal.

I don't have the box score with me, but I checked his performance out earlier and I think you'll be pretty pleased. He had 3 solo tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 1 hurry (I think).

Yep - win-win. :D

Don't feel too bad, GE. Nearly all of us will end up saying something similar at some point this season.

In his defense, that's how everyone pronounces it anyhow....

2-0 and baby!

well, looks like I'll be in for a loooong season, or two...

and, huh, how am I supposed to get the team under the cap is this happens:

Buehler, Kory Sacramento Dragons ILB offer withdrawn due to lack of cap room $3.21 mil., 3 yrs.
Grays, Josiah Sacramento Dragons P offer withdrawn due to lack of cap room $2.63 mil., 3 yrs.
Stagner, Eric Sacramento Dragons DE offer withdrawn due to lack of cap room $3.16 mil., 3 yrs.
Cundiff, Marvin Sacramento Dragons S offer withdrawn due to lack of cap room $2.95 mil., 3 yrs.
Floyd, Carmelo Sacramento Dragons CB offer withdrawn due to lack of cap room $1.61 mil., 2 yrs.
Evans, David Sacramento Dragons FB offer withdrawn due to lack of cap room $5.03 mil., 4 yrs.
Trainor, Thomas Sacramento Dragons TE offer withdrawn due to lack of cap room $1.33 mil., 2 yrs.
Lamontagne, Rick Sacramento Dragons DE offer withdrawn due to lack of cap room $15.37 mil., 4 yrs.

:?

Huh? I offered most of them some reworked contract, some were the good old "cap out" button, but some were very reasonable reworked contract that would have at least set free some cap space for this season...

hrm, looks like some high profile players will be on the trade market soon... :(

It appears Donnie Lowe, although good in preseason, is not ready for the starting job...We are re-evaluating our QB position for the next few weeks here in Tulsa. Meaning- Lowe will take a seat on the bench for a few weeks, see if old man Jarvis can win us a few. =)

Two and O baby !

Very happy with that win; I totally outplayed Las Vegas. The offense moved the ball, defense was tough and scored a TD and a safety (my first ever in MP I believe) and the special teams were also very good, giving us good field position and forcing the Crawfishs to start drives deep in their territory.

Got some playing time for my backups...

And not a single injury too...

Let's keep it like that!!

Tough loss for Hartford. Looks like the offense performed much better in week two except for a key fumble killing an early drive. The protection for Oberg was much better.

Kicking game failed in the 4th quarter though. A false start knocked the Attack out of field goal range with about 7 minutes left, and then Richmond missed a 50 yard field goal in the final minute that would have sent the game to OT.

My vets are doing a masterful job of ball control so far, 7 turnovers forced, none given up. 2-0 and all is good in Armadilloville.

There was some good out of my game though... namely this:

95 McCalla 3.0 0 2 41

(3 sacks, 2 hurries in 41 pass plays)...

13 penalties for 120 yards

Looks like my new coach needs to start earning his money

MOTORMOUTH SUCK. 1 Lousy sack in 2 weeks. Hell there are 3 DL players in CHI with more sacks and LBers with a sack already this year. Shut up and play you loudmouth. Your too much like Peon Deion. All talk and no show.

Just stirring the pot baby.
