Here is my look at the EFC playoff race.
I've also included my predictions for the final seedings.

(I think I've gotton the tiebreakers right!)

The division title is between current leaders New Orleans (10-4) and 2nd placed San Antonio (9-5).
The Horde face a tough trip to WFC Ring of Ice leaders Boise (12-2) before their home finale versus the Memphis Express (4-10).
Meanwhile, the Stingers have two road games versus a wildcard hunting Seattle (7-7) and the Shreveport Pride (6-8 ) who still harbor a long shot at a wildcard berth.

The Horde and the Stingers have split their games this season and each have a 4-1 divisional record which is likely to finish as a 5-1 record.
New Orleans currently hold the tie break with a slender lead in the Conference games.

Even if New Orleans lose to Boise, their predicted win over Memphis would see them take the division as a two game gap would be too much for San Antonio to make up, even with two road victories.

Oh, and you have the division names wrong. You probably don't know it yet, but we customized them very early on in the history of our league, based loosely on geographical positions.

American Conference = Eastern Football Conference (EFC)

North = Deep South
South = Great Lakes
East = Atlantic
West = Yankee

Names added in the WFC thread as well.

This is the ony one I disagree with.
Before looking at conference games, the common game tiebreaker kicks in. And with this, San Antonio is currently 9-3 while New Orleans is 8-4.

Clinch scenarios for this week:

- New Orleans can clinch the Deep South with a win AND a San Antonio loss.

- Charleston clinches the Atlantic division with a win.

- San Antonio clinches at least a wild card with a win.

Cleveland has clinched the Great Lakes division, first round bye and #1 seed.

Atlantic City has clinched the Yankee division.

Charleston has clinched the Atlantic division.

San Antonio has clinched at least a wild card, and can clinch the Deep South with a win OR a New Orleans loss.

New Orleans has clinched at least a wild card, and can clinch the Deep South with a win AND a San Antonio loss.

Detroit can clinch a wild card with a win OR a Tampa Bay loss.

Tampa Bay can clinch a wild card with a win AND a Detroit loss.

[i224b3d2]Note[/i224b3d2]: Both Durham and Baltimore are eliminated. Even if they win and Detroit loses, then all teams are 8-8, but Detroit holds the head to head tiebreaker over both DUR and BAL.
