Tampa Bay, FL (AP): The Tampa Bay Torpedoes hosted the Albany Crows and lost in the final minute of the 4th Quarter by the final score of 22-20. Crows QB [player]Kent Garrison[/player] was named MVP as he completed 28 of 39 passes (71.8%) for 248 yards and rushed 3 times for 17 yards (5.7 Ypc). Offensively, the Torpedoes were able to move the ball through the air, but their run game was contained. The Torpedoes scored 17 points on 3 trips to the Red Zone. The Crows dominated the time of possession and set the pace of the game. Defensively, the Torpedoes struggled as they allowed 379 total yards of offense. The Torpedoes forced 2 turnovers. The Torpedoes struggled to stop the Crows on 3rd down. The Torpedoes held the Crows to 16 points on 4 trips to the Red Zone. The Torpedoes sit in 3rd place of the AC ATLANTIC. The Torpedoes (1-2) travel to play the Memphis Express (2-1) next week and are in for a tough game. Can the Torpedoes find a way to win on the road or will the Express win their 3rd consecutive game at home?

Torpedoes Head Coach, Alvin Peterson had these comments after the game, "This was a tough loss to take. The Crows dominated us on our own field. We had an opportunity to win this game, but allowed it to slip away at the end. We will review the game film and find ways to improve. We travel to play the Memphis Express next week and we are in for a challenge. We need to establish our run game, protect the ball, and play sound fundamental defense if we want to have a shot at winning this game!"
