Albany NY (Continental Sports Network)
The Tennessee Militia defeated the Albany Crows in a game that showed Albany still has a lot of fight in them and that they refuse to be an easy win for any team.
First year Tennessee Coach Hoch continued to demonstrate his commitment to the run as the Militia rushed the ball twice as many times as the Crows, 38 to 19. This type of game plan has also led to second year running back Otis Inderweis becoming the "thunder" to Marvin Barton's "lighting". So far this season Inderweis has rushed 28 times for 135 yards. Compare that to last year when he had 88 attempts and 304 yards on the whole season.

Emmanuel Cole stayed on a role as he earned game MVP honors for the second straight week as he 16 of 34 for 219 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also reached a career first, the first time he has been on a winning team. For Tennessee fans you have to go back to the 2019 season for the last time this team was above .500. Six years ago the team was 4-3 and lost in Omaha in week 9 which started a four game skid from which the team hasn't recovered until now.

Next week the Militia travel to St. Louis to take on the Torpedoes who are still on a high after having upset Atlantic City for their first win since week 17 of 2023.
