UDFA TE Beyer 15/40

I noticed him in draft list but forgot to bid on him in F/A. The is the first time I have seen a Beyer in any sim.

After TC we have:

RB B. Clements 56/64 to [be3632c1]58/63 +2/-1[/be3632c1] that's fine
WR D. Lindsay 21/34 to [be3632c1]24/38 +3/+4[/be3632c1] that a good sign
OLB J. Goldman 17/40 to [be3632c1]22/43 +5/+3[/be3632c1] another good sign
CB- J. Schneider 21/33 to [be3632c1]26/36 +5/+3[/be3632c1] a good trend here
WR J. Satterfield 17/39 to [be3632c1]19/38 +2/-1[/be3632c1] not a good sign
TE J. Ogden 13/33 to [be3632c1]17/34 +4/+1[/be3632c1] back to +/+ that's good
OLB T. Wagner 11/30 to [be3632c1]13/31 +2/+1[/be3632c1] hoped for more but +/+
UDFA DT L. Gillespe 23/42 to [be3632c1]25/38 +2/-4[/be3632c1] there's a reason he wasn't drafted
UDFA CB D. Hogg 23/43 to [be3632c1]25/40 +2/-3[/be3632c1] again wasn't drafted for a reason

Overall TC was good all draft picks are +/+ but Clements and thats no big deal, and Satterfield we hoped he would grow.

Ugh. This draft class is looking rough.

In other news QB Foster took a 5 point step back. This looks like the beginning of the end.

Draft/training camp

Without going into specifics, my scout picked rounds 1 to 3 and I did a player list for 4 to 6.
First round pick was WR Mcdonald at 4th overall, you would think that even the AI scout couldn't screw that up
Mcdonald pre camp mid 60s potential, post camp mid 30's
swell
I think I'll be looking for a new scout

Yeah the issue there is scout picks need. He might grab a player way before needed just to get a player you needed.

Scouts are wrong most the time i use them as the 4th logic after-combines, bars, gut, scout, flip a quarter, close eyes.

If it's any consolation, I don't think anyone expected McDonald to drop like that. That's incredible. I didn't even scout him figuring I had no shot at him. So...... thanks for jumping on the grenade for me.

Best news from camp was that Emmanual Cole did not take a step backwards after the devestating injury last year.

Worst news was the double digit drop by DT Earnest Armstrong... 45 to 34 ?? Ouch....

Rookie Crop-

1-Glen Ward S +7/+1 Diggin it...
2-Trevor Paoilini SILB +4/-3
3-Vernon Wheeler DE +4/+1
7-Andrew Williamson CB +7/+3
UDFA-Mark Kamm WR +2/-6
UDFA-Neil Fitzgerald CB +3/-4
UDFA-David Ackerman SS +1/-8
UDFA-Cutis Martin LT +3/-4

Apparently UDFA's "..are what we thought they were!!"

This year's Albany draft class:

CB Damon Blassingame - 37/57 to 42/59 - +5/+2
OLB Mark Koopmans - 29/52 to 33/51 - +4/-1
WR Melvin Parrish - 25/40 to 26/40 - +1/+0
K Sammy Vaughn - 43/74 to 45/74 - +2/+0
DE Reggie Rathbone - 20/42 to 22/40 - +2/-2
DT Phillip Chinn - 17/46 to 20/41 - +3/-5
ILB Leo Delgado - 16/42 to 17/35 - +1/-7
S Kelvin Vance - 17/31 to 20/28 - +3/-3

UDFAs:
RB Kendall Dorris - 26/42 to 26/39 - +0/-3
DT Daniel Briggs - 24/45 to 27/44 - +3/-1
CB Alonzo Gardner - 8/31 to 10/31 - +2/-1
CB Andre Clewell - 18/41 to 20/38 - +2/-3
S Don Badger - 13/43 to 17/42 - +4/-1

Overall: Only Chinn and Delgado shit the bed, which isn't bad. Only Blassingame's results are what I would call good, though.

Other shifts of note:
P Rickey Benson - +1/-7 - time for a new punter
ILB Bruce Wallace - -7/-7 - the hell?
T TJ Strauss - +5/+5
DT Harold Sanderson - +6/+1
WR Patrick Nunn - +4/+2
RB Jonnie Hong - -6/-6 - Well shit.
CB Daryl Sawyer - -5/-5
ILB Marvin Amos - -8/-8 - Yes, that's right. [i7399aed]Every[/i7399aed] ILB on my roster took at least a -7 hit.
T Marco Harden - -5/-5
OLB Austin Wasserman - -7/-7

The only young player on our team I was concerned with:

[b1908cea]QB Harry Reese[/b1908cea]
EoS1 - 58/81
SC - 72/81
TC2 - 86/86

And he's still only about 85% developed. Looks like he will end up in the 90s when all is said and done.
